Olusegun Dada, the Special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Digital Media, has urged Nigerians to remain patient with the Tinubu led government. In his words, he reassured Nigerians that ‘Joy is coming’.
The effects of fuel subsidy removal has taken a toll on Nigerians, as both citizens and residents are struggling with the extreme high cost of living in the country.
Purchasing petroleum products is expensive, food, transportation and basic amenities are over the top and most businesses are finding it difficult to survive the harsh economy that has engulfed the country, since the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023.
In the midst of all these difficulties, Olusegun Dada has taken to his Twitter page to reassure Nigerians of the renewed hope they voted for, and the need to exercise patience with his principal, President bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he makes effort to put the country in order.
He wrote;
‘’Please be patient. Joy is coming #RenewedHope”
Dada, was an aspirant for the position of National youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), but withdrew from the race halfway during the convention.
According to some party insiders, he was made to step down for Bola Tinubu’s Candidate, Dayo Israel who was also vying for the position.
Olusegun in accordance to the order, announced his withdrawal at the party’s 2022 National Convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja, amid tears.
He is one of several aspirants who backed out of various party positions with respect to the consensus arrangement of the party.
