The former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, and former spokesperson of the APC presidential council, Festus Keyamo, has claimed that some people from various opposition parties who trolled and insulted those that campaigned for Tinubu, are secretly in talks with some APC members to decamp to the party.

Keyamo in a post he shared on Twitter, stated he won’t mention names but rather referred to them as “fickle-minded”, and “pretentious” in dealing with the public, unlike some loyal supporters of APC who fought and stood their ground till 2015, when they assumed power.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) again in 2023 clinched the presidential seat, as Bola Ahmed Tinubu was inaugurated and sworn in as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Monday, May 29, and has assumed office to take over the affairs of the country.

This is what he posted:

Some of those who were trolling and abusing us for our stand during the campaigns are now talking at night to our people and pleading to be allowed into our fold. I will not mention names now. That is how fickle-minded some of these characters are; very unscrupulous and pretentious in their public posturing unlike some of us who joined the opposition and stayed and fought there until we assumed power in 2015. Some of us have NEVER shifted our political platform Well, it is their right to change like chameleons. Fair enough, but just bookmark this tweet and take your pen and tick their names as you see them crawl in, one by one
