Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has urged Nigerians not to forget the events that took place in 2011, when Mohammadu Buhari lost his presidential bid.
The Twitter sensation, in a post on the micro blogging platform, reminded his followers of the violence that erupted in Northern states when Buhari lost the election in 2011, and he compared it to the reactions of Peter Obi’s supporters when he lost the February 25, presidential election.
In his words, their reaction is more ‘Peaceful’ than that of Buhari’s proponents.
Recall that in 2011, when then presidential candidate, Mohammadu Buhari lost the elections to then President Goodluck Jonathan, there was violence in the Northern part of the country by supporters of Buhari. The violence resulted in the death of several Youth Corpers and destruction of properties.
