Bobrisky to serve six months jail time with no option for fine

Bobrisky-2

Crossdresser, Idris Okuneye also known as “Bobrisky” has been sentenced to six months of jail time with no fine option.

Bobrisky was first arrested on Wednesday 3rd April 2024, on six charges of naira abuse and alleged money laundering. The first 4 counts were based on abuse of the Naira, and the last two counts border on alleged money laundering.

Now a Federal High Court in Lagos gave the judgement on Friday April 12, 2024.

The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Dele Oyewale confirmed the judgement and is quoted as saying:

“It is true our boys arrested him yesterday evening in Lagos for naira abuse. We don’t have anything to do with his lifestyle (being a cross-dresser). He was suspected of committing an economic crime and that was the reason for his arrest,”

This sentence marks a new development for the popular crossdresser, who has been in a media battle with another social influencer, verydarkman.
