In one of the English Premiership star games played on Sunday, April 7, 2024, Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by relegation candidates Sheffield United.

This was as disappointing as a game could get for Chelsea who let their lead slip twice, again.

The blues having just barely scraping through the last game with a 4-3 win over Manchester United.

From all the evidence we saw on display today, the win over Manchester United was purely a fluke.

The inconsistency in this Mauricio Pochettino tutored team is hard to even watch.

Thiago Silva put Chelsea ahead in the 11th minute, but the lead was shortlived after an equalizer by Bogle of Sheffield United in the 32nd minute.

Noni Madueke, put the blues back ahead in the 66th minute, only for a 93rd minute equalizer from Oli McBurnie of Sheffield United, to make the scores all even at 2-2.

Surely, Pochettino must be feeling the heat. The entire season is really one to forget, and many fingers will be pointing in the manager’s direction.

This team can be better managed after spending over a billion pounds on players.

The performances and results are just not good enough. Chelsea have had to endure painful draws against the two bottom teams in the league. Chelsea needs better finishers and the team must show enough strength to defend their leads.

The manager must clearly share in the blame.

In another game, Liverpool and Manchester United shared the points with a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.

Luis Diaz and Mohammed Salah were on target for Liverpool, while Bruno Fernandez and Kobbie Mainoo scored for Manchester United.

This result was a setback for Liverpool in their quest to take back the leadership of the Premier League Table from rivals, Arsenal.
