The 2023 General Elections is fast approaching and every concerned Nigerian citizen yearns for a successful and credible election. Twitter sensation and former senator, Shehu Sani has stated that the elections will not be credible if politicians who allegedly stashed old Naira notes get to share them to the public on or before the presidential election that is scheduled to hold on February 25.

Nigerians are currently experiencing cash scarcity and that has led to severe poverty, hunger and frustration. Observers believe a good number of voters can be tempted with money to sell their votes. Vote buying is prevalent in Nigeria and actively encouraged by corrupt politicians.
