Welcome to Al-Ittihad Ashleigh Plumptre 🤩🙌
آشلي بلمتر في كتبية النمور 🐅⚔️
It is amazing that the revolution in Saudi football is not just limited to the men. Now there seems to be an exodus of female footballers to the oil rich middle eastern country.
Ashleigh who just had an amazing World Cup experience with the Super Falcons of Nigeria, posted that she was excited to make the move after leaving Leicester City, where she spent three years.
The 25 year old who elected to play for Nigeria instead of England, has been a revelation and fans favorite with the Super Falcons.
This is her post from her Twitter account:
Grateful to have signed for Al-Ittihad 🐅
Excited to start this journey alongside some incredible human beings.
My journey of stepping into more of myself continues…
It’s more than football 💛
