Manchester United seems to be very serious in their attempt to lure over Cameroon and Inter Milan goalkeeper, Andre Onana to Manchester.

Man United made a fresh offer of £43m after their first bid of £38.5m was rejected by Inter Milan, who consider their keeper to be worth a lot more.

Inter Milan are hoping for a bid of £45m to seal the deal and are holding out for a better offer for the Cameroonian safe hands.

Coach Erik Ten Haag is desperate to have Onana at Old Trafford after tossing into the bin the extension deal planned for goalkeeper David De Gea.

De Gea had suffered a loss of form and had let in some very soft goals which forced Manchester United to reconsider the contract offer earlier extended to him.

De Gea who was one of the highest earners at United with weekly wages of £375,000 is now left out in the cold to find another club as a free agent.

Manchester United were hoping to resign De Gea on much reduced wages but have now made a U-turn, leaving the Spanish goalkeeper out of contract and a free agent.

Andre Onana had previously played under Erik Ten Haag at Ajax Amsterdam before moving to Inter Milan.

He is expected to provide a solution to the ever-leaking Manchester United goal post at Old Trafford in the new season.

Mason Mount Signs For Manchester United

Manchester United only this week, sealed a £58.89m deal to bring over Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount.

Mount was having a running battle with the Chelsea hierarchy over a new contract and failed to agree on the terms at Stamford Bridge. After signing a new five year deal at Manchester United, Mount revealed that Chelsea let him know he was not in their plans so he needed to make the move.

However, critics have pointed out that Mount, who started out at age 6 at Chelsea, made the move to Old Trafford for financial reasons. Chelsea offered him a new contract of £200,000 per week which Mount rejected. He is reportedly on a deal close to £300,000 a week at Old Trafford.
