South East Insecurity will end in two minutes after my release – Nnamdi Kani (Video)

Nnamdi-Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has come out angrily against the continued insecurity in the South-East region of Nigeria.

Kanu who is currently detained and facing prosecution by the Department of State Security (DSS) made this comment today at an Abuja High Court while addressing the media after the High Court presided by Justice Binta Nyarko, refused his bail application.

The IPOB leader said he suspects some people in Government are complicit in relation to the insecurity issues in the region. He added that nobody could counter his instructions in the South East

Here is an excerpt of his briefing:

“I suspect some people in Government are complicit. They are making money with insecurity.

They know that if Nnamdi Kanu is outside, in two minutes this nonsense will stop

Who is the idiot, who is the braggart that would speak when I am talking?

That I give an order in the East and any idiot will counter it? Nobody can.”

The Nigerian Authorities have detained Kanu since 2021 after allegedly forcefully extraditing him from Kenya. He is held under state security charges after openly calling for the break away of the South-East region of the country.
