Manchester City Win 0-3 at Everton To Widen Gap To 4 Points

The dream of an English Premier League Title win for the season went off like a candle in the night at the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal.
The team suffered a title losing game at home 0-3 to Brighton. This loss effectively ends the dream of the young gunners who had played gallantly and hopefully all season.
Goals from Julio Enciso, Deniz Undav and Pervis Estupinan ensured Arsenal effectively lost the battle for the League title.

This loss leaves Arsenal 4 points adrift from Manchester City at the top. City beat Everton 0-3 earlier in the day to take their points tally to 85. Ilkay Gundogan was on show for City with two excellent goals, and Erling Haarland added one more goal for the table toppers. City are just on a roll now.
With just two games remaining, it is very hard to see any miracle happening to make Arsenal overtake them on the table.
Manchester City just need one more win to clinch the title and their next game is at Chelsea who have been totally inconsistent this season. It would be almost fool hardy to put your money on Chelsea beating Manchester City, at least not with the total dominance which City are playing with now.

Arsenal have a good young team and have done exceedingly well to take the chase this far. They have nothing to be ashamed of. They will play the next two games with an eye on rebuilding for next season.

On the other hand, Manchester City are having a fabulous season. They are still in the running for the treble and most importantly, the finals of the Champions League. They have the small business of kicking perennial holders, Real Madrid, out in the second leg this week in Manchester.

An absolutely unbelievable comeback for Pep Guardiola and his boys who were 8 points behind Arsenal some weeks back. If this is not greatness, then maybe we need to redefine what greatness means in football terms.
