Reports are reaching that Turkish first division side, Fenerbahçe have put in an official bid for Fred, the Manchester United Brazilian midfielder.

The bid is estimated at €15million for the midfielder who was a key man in the Brazil squad to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Fred, 30, whose full name is Frederico Rodrigues de Paula Santos, joined United in 2018 from Ukrainian side, Shakhtar Donetsk for £47 million. He signed initially on a 5-year contract and instantly formed a solid midfield partnership with Scott Mctominay.

He has consistently made it to the last two World Cups in a tight Brazilian squad brimming with talent.

The lower valuation bid put forward by the Turkish side is a bit surprising for a Brazilian National Team player.

The bid is yet to be accepted by Manchester United who must make plans to replace him if any bid is to be accepted.

Recall that Manchester United recently brought in English midfielder, Mason Mount, from Chelsea for £60million.
